When I have received this sms message, I realised it is a scam as I did not disclose my telephone number to Yahoo.
The message that I received as follows:-
From Yahoo! Mail
Your Phone Number:
65XXXXXXXX won $9,500 in the Yahoo! 2008 Special Program.
Winners contact mailprize294@yahoo.com for FREE claims and delivery details
In fact, I am not the only one that have received this message. The “Prize” mentioned is rather large amount that I guess some desperate or greedy one will fall for it.
BEWARE OF SUCH SCAM, DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
